EVALUATION QUESTION 4TECHNOLOGIES USED

EMAZE

• We used Emaze several times during our planning. We all found it very straight forward and easy to use. In some ways its similar to PowerPoint in the sense you can change the text size and colour using the same feature.

• We used Emaze to present some of our assignments in a professional way. We tried to explore the technology as much as possible by adding different templates and effects.

• We tried designing out assignments so they link in with our project. We did this by using bright colours and bold texts to make them interesting and engaging.

SOCIAL MEDIA• We used social media during the beginning

and end of our planning. We initially used it to explore for ideas by looking at previous work and other schools and to see how they compare.

• We then set up our own YouTube and Facebook account to start publishing some of our planning and experimental videos like the base track practice.

• We used twitter to look into the indie industry in more depth because as a group our knowledge wasn't great. We also explored our artist page (Saint Raymond) to see what kind of interests and hobbies he may have.

MICROSOFT WORD

• We used micro soft word during our research to type out any brief notes we had at the very beginning.

• We also used it to create mood boards and mind maps to gather ideas together.

• We were all very good at using word so it was useful for us when we needed to be efficient and fast moving.

• We used Word to make tables and grids when looking at student work and marking it. We used word as it was easy to colour code and write notes.

PREZI• We used Prezi on multiple occasions as a

group during our research. We found it was very useful when doing presentations as a group as we could all add to the presentations from multiple media platforms.

• It gave another dimension in the sense it was more advanced than some of others technologies.

• There is multiple templates and designs available which we found useful when writing up our pitches and creating mood boards and presenting pitches.
