Additionally, the following was also recently introduced, opening up travel for passengers from most European countries: - Latvian nationals, permanent residents and foreigners who have not visited countries other than Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia or the European countries with less than 15 COVID19 cases per 100.000 inhabitants during the last two weeks (list of countries can be found here: https://spkc.gov.lv/lv/tavai-veselibai/aktualitate-par-jauno-koronavi/valstu-saslimstibas-raditaji-a), are exempt from the 14-day quarantine period after arrival in Latvia. The list of countries is updated every Friday. - Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian nationals and permanent residents arriving from other countries are allowed to enter the country, but have to observe a quarantine period of 14 days at home. Other passengers can transit through Latvia if they do not enter the country. This means that fuels stops are possible, but for exact answers and confirmations on fuel stops, the tentative schedule would be needed and we ask operators to contact us before. - Crew members in general, who show no symptoms of COVID19, are exempt from the 14-day quarantine rule as well and can stay overnight if they arrive and depart as crew. - Flights are now permitted to arrive from all countries worldwide. Flights arriving from the countries highlighted in Yellow or in Red in this list (https://spkc.gov.lv/lv/tavai-veselibai/aktualitate-par-jauno-koronavi/valstu-saslimstibas-raditaji-a) and all other countries worldwide not included in the list are limited to a maximum of 5 passengers.
