GrandparentParentTeenager
Analysis
The data shows that grandparents during their teenage years were the healthiest of all as most of their food served at home was healthy.
When our grandparents were teenagers, there was very little availability of unhealthy food. So they had no other alternative and had to have only healthy food. Nowadays unhealthy food has become a part of everybody’s diet.
3) Were there enough exercise facilities in your area when you were young?
Exercise

Grandparent
Analysis
There were plenty of outdoor activities like hockey, football, etc during the time when grandparents were teenagers but hardly any gyms so they had fewer facilities but they utilized them very efficiently to remain fit.
Parents, when they were teenagers had the facilities of gyms and other sports but did not use it to the fullest just like us teenagers who now have so many choices but no desire to work out and stay fit.
4) What according to you defines ‘Healthy Life’? Name three such essential things that define your healthy life.
Both grandparents and parents believe that eating healthy, sleeping well and drinking adequate amount of water is the key to healthy life.
Grandparents emphasize on walking and being hygienic for a balance healthy life. Whereas, Parents focus on consumption of a balanced diet.
•Diets- Do they Work? Have you tried one?
5) Have you ever gone on a diet?

Diet
TeenagerParentGrandparent
Analysis
Grandparents, when they were teenagers, did not go on diets because they never felt the need to as they used to eat healthier food than the parents as teenagers.
Therefore, parents felt that diets are useful and grandparents did not.
Nowadays, mostly all teenagers go on a diet. But their main motive is to look thin as they think that being thin is being healthy.
Conclusion-
No, these days, the food that we teenagers eat is mostly unhealthy. We also plan diets to become thin, not stay healthy. When we teenagers make our diets, it moslty includes not eating some meals. That is a very wrong practice as it does not help us to stay healthy, it actually deteriorates our health.
Food Activity at the school
We conducted food activity at our school with our class mates. We had food counters with healthy food. We informed our guests about the nutritional element in the food we prepared, also the importance and benefits of having food.
