Where is the Problem?

Questions to consider …

Is there a website that stores and easily searches for information on all who want to teach/learn online and all who want to teach/learn off-line? Globally and locally.

Can data on Subject Matter Experts be made available on a global scale for all disciplines, subjects and topics? Can good education be made available to all? … For those can afford and for those who cannot.

Why aren’t user-friendly free versions used extensively to teach several students at a time (synchronous)? Do I know who all would be interested in my lessons?

Are all recorded videos and lectures on every discipline available atone place and accessible to all (asynchronous)?

Is there a global Demand and Supply matching website dedicated to education?

Business Model Canvas

Technology Partnership:Using open source current technologies Have tested, evaluated and integrated LMS and Collaborative toolsWorking on Data base design and Supply-Demand matching algorithmsTechnology Partnership and/or Funds required. Value Proposition - Survey Portends Demand:Statistically significant Demand is ascertained through surveys and interviews. Similarity to Existing Online Models: Modified Craig’s List and eBay type model– but dedicated to education.Customers and Channels:Students and Learners are the customers, who will rate the Tutors (*stars)Online and Off-line matching is done (synchronous and asynchronous modes)Cost and Revenue Streams:Open-sourcing with current technologies and crowd sourcing model will contain costs. Revenue streams will be based on what the market bears. Free to Subscription to API’s to online global institutions/universities will render multiple revenue streams.

The Team

Funding

• Bootstrapping has led the team to come up with a model that’s in Demand and that works (based on sampling and prototype simulations).

• A more robust prototype is required for extensive testing, debugging and model tweaking.

• This is mission critical to success – our team is ready to generously share equity with venture capitalist(s) and/or Tech and Marketing partners or a combination thereof.

• Initial seed money for technology development and greater in-depth market analysis is assessed to be only $150K and t three months of dedicated efforts. Macro plan in place.

Final Word• The project is anticipated to mushroom into a grand

scale educational paradigm shift where Blended Learning options and possibilities will render unfathomable benefits to the entire world’s population. Experts on all possible subjects will be available and accessible to all. The price will vary from free to what the market bears. The benefit will be ubiquitous.

• This will globally enhance education to make this world a better world for all… on the cloud and beyond.
