BACKGROUND OF

CHAIRMAN

With the leadership of quality and wide

vision a common man from rural place of Tripura

who visualised the future prospect of pharmacy

education and established a Pharmacy institute in

the name of Calcutta institute of pharmaceutical

technology and AHS in the year 2002 under “

Bharat Consortium Institute’’ in Howrah district of

West Bengal. Subsequently he established another

Two pharmacy institutes in the mane of BHARAT

TECHNOLOGY and Bharat Pharmaceutical

Technology (Tripura) in the year 2006 & 2018.

Gradually those institute become the pathfinder in

pharmaceutical education not only West Bengal also

in India. He is the man behind implementation of

PCI education Regulation throughout the state.

Presently each institute are functioning well by

producing quality students to cater to need of the

society. He is none other than Prof (Dr). Rabindra

Debnath.

The founder of the institutions had a

clear vision and a well defined mission to build an

institutions to provide vigorous, high quality and

relevant education in India so that the student’s

community would have an alternative to education

in a foreign country.

ADMISSION CRITERIA

B.Pharm ( 4 years duration ): 100 seats

D.Pharm (2 years duration ): 60 seats

B.Pharm (Practices)*: 40 seats

For B.Pharm: Candidate should have passed 10+2 Examination

securing 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

individually along with English from a recognized council/board

and have Secured rank in JEE Main or WBJEE Exam.

Lateral Entry: Candidate should have passed D.Pharm

Examination with Minimum 50% marks & secured a rank in

JELET Entrance Examination.

For D.Pharm: Candidate should have passed 10+2 Examination

securing 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

individually along with English from a recognized council/board

Secured rank in CET Pharmacy of West Bengal State Council

for Technical And Vocational & Skill Development.

GENAREL RULES & REGULATION FOR STUDENT

• Student are expected to use only courteous and polite

language and behave with decorum with faculty member and

stuff of the collage.

• Student shall not talk or act in any manner outside the institute

in a way that would bring disrepute to the collage.

• Student should attend all classes regularly and punctually.

• Dress code is mandatory and part of collage discipline.

• Student without identity card will be marked absent.

• A student with less than 75% of attendance will not be eligible

to write the semester examination of the university.

• Collage library is open to all the student, faculty and staff

members.

• Readers are not allowed to enter the library with their personal

belongings.

• Students are expected to read noticed displayed on the

collage notice board.

• All vehicles should be parked in the allotted place.

• Spitting, smoking and throwing bits of paper inside the collage

campus is prohibited.

• No meeting function of any kind shall be held in the collage

premises without the written permission to the principal.

• The principal will deal strictly with students who paly a leading

part, by organizing or assisting in strikes.

• Ragging and eve teasing are considered as crime and strictly

prohibited by an act promulgated by the government of west

Bengal. If any student indulged any form of ragging or eve

teasing inside the collage or outside. He/she will be summarily

expected from the collage.
