HOW IT WORKS
The idea behind our design is a “choose your own morning” type of breakfast kit. We are in the process of
designing our final prototype now to contain two different products. The consumer will choose:

The design process has been iterative and flexible.
Each round of design has been improved on based on feedback and suggestions from our professor.
DESIGNPROCESS
The intent of the first design was to resemble a lunchbox. This was to engender feelings of nostalgia and model convenience. Unfortunately too much material was used.
DESIGNPROCESS:TAKE 1
The second prototype was heavily influenced by a drink carrying tray. The drawback to this design was a lack of product visibility.
DESIGNPROCESS: TAKE 2
After a trip to Publix, we sought to model our package after a popup sandwich container with a collapsible cup holder to contain the drink.
STRUCTUREDESIGNPROCESS: TAKE 3
STRUCTURE
The structure has a two walled compartment capable of holding one beverage and one breakfast item.
DESIGNPROCESS: TAKE 3
To highlight the ability to choose, there will be explicit directions about the brands they are able to select. In addition, the graphics will emphasize the fact that there are 6 combinations for under 600 calories.
