Human Factors Specialist, Insight Product Development, LLC Sept. 2014 - Dec. 2014~ Supported the design research and development team through product-user risk analyses and failure mode analysis.~ Wrote interview protocols and participant screeners for usability testing.~ Executed and analyszed 40+ hours of usability testing data and created design recommendation deliverables for Insight’s product development team and external clients.

Academic Researcher, Chalmers University Mar. 2014 - June 2014~ Qualitative research of workplace ecology of industrial engineers and ergonomists using Dedoose software, under the Department of Product & Production Development at Chalmers University of Technology.~ Analysed 40 semi-structured one-hour interviews to gain insight about the influence of organizational hierarchies on ergonomic practitioner efficacy.

Independent Researcher, Georgia Institute of Technology Dec. 2012 - May 2013~ Human factors analysis and system redesign of a reverse osmosis/electro-dialysis mechanism for Dr. Ellery Ingall (thermodynamics professor) at the College of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Tech.~ Reduced system size by 75%, increased system yield by 20%, and decreased possibility of repetitive stress injuries during use.
