Each June, the ERC partners with the Hunger Coalition to offer a series of nature education workshops during Lunch Connections, a free lunch program, at Woodside Elementary.

SHOOTING STAR CAMPOUT

Every summer, the Perseid Meteor Shower streaks across the sky, putting on a fabulous show before summer draws to a close. Come together with ERC and other families to sleep under the stars in the Sawtooth Valley! ERC staff will lead nature workshops on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Participants will enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and the chance to explore!

Join ERC for overnight camps north of Ketchum. Camp is nestled next to Prairie Creek, surrounded by acres of land for science discovery. Days are spent exploring the diversity of nature with professional educators; while evenings are full of summer fun!
NEW! Meals are incorporated within the curriculum to highlight the importance of local and organic food systems.

ENVIRONMENTAL OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP
Join ERC for a week overnight camp located over Trail Creek Summit at Base Camp sandwiched between the Pioneer Mountains and the Lost River Range. Participants will sleep in yurts and explore during an overnight backpack trip.
Hone outdoor skills including orienteering, outdoor ethics, backcountry skills, and natural history.
Early Registration Recommended. 16 Participant Capacity.

Participants will take an in-depth look at the science of water and the habitats it creates. Be prepared to get wet learning about the wonderful world of water.

AMAZING ADAPTATIONS
Plants and animals have adapted to our local environment in the most amazing ways. This camp will focus on these adaptations teaching participants about the fascinating ecology found in our montane biome. NEW! Star Lab© with Scott Slonim, Hemingway Tech Teacher.

NATURE CONNECTIONS
Participants will gain a deep connection with the ecology that surrounds them as they get dirty exploring the world of native flora and fauna, geology, and natural history. NEW! Star Lab© with Scott Slonim, Hemingway Tech Teacher.
