The Vibratory Disc Mill is crushing unitspecially designed to obtain grain sizes from awide range of samples, such as glass, earth,slag, metallic oxides, ferroalloys, cements,ceramic elements, amongst other.It can quickly crush a great variety of differentmaterials, from semisoft materials to thehardest, fragile or fibrous.Its simplicity of use and sturdiness make ofthis it a practically maintenance free unit.

Controlled by a microprocessor, it has got five workingprograms, from where you can select several timesand milling speeds. When the milling jar is put in placewith the sample inside, and you close the door, simplyselect one of the programs and push start. The unitstarts up immediately and, when the programmed timehas elapsed, the mill will stop, allowing the door to opento take the milling jar.

The acoustic insulation lining the inside effectivelylowers the sound level of the mill during the millingprocess, avoiding thus exposing the user to noise.

The fixing system for the milling jars, as well as thesafety lock in the door preventing it from opening

until the engine has completely stopped, make ofthis mill a highly safe unit.Stable. The frequency converter in this unit, apartfrom allowing adjusting the speed of the engine tothe most adequate for each type of sample, lets youreach the working speed as well as pass to zerospeed via an acceleration or deceleration ramp, thisway avoiding that the unit vibrates in the starting andstopping process.

The crushing of the sample is made in the inside ofthe jar initially with the discs colliding into oneanother, and then with the friction between the discsand the walls of the jar. The milling times are reallyshort.

Once the sample is inside the jar, we just need to establishthe milling time and the appropriate speed using the display.The mill has got five programs to adjust the milling time andspeed. It is specially designed to avoid vibrations.
