The "EPIC Entrepreneurship Week" held yearly the last week of August, brings together 15 dynamic and ambitious entrepreneurs from 10 different countries to reflect on their new venture. The meeting is a unique opportunity to discuss your business plan, confirm opportunities and challenges. The experience is highly interactive and participants are expected to make several short presentations. Halve the program takes place at the university, halve takes place at several companies where participants have the opportunity to learn first-hand experience and discuss with several industry professionals. The event is organized by EPIC to the benefit of its members. Applicants will be confirmed by 31 May 2014. Date & Location: 25-29 August 2014. Berlin, Germany.

Registration: Attendance is limited to 15 participants. Candidates must be recommended by a member of EPIC and will be selected based on motivation, experience, ambition, business plan and ideas.

Cost: 200 EUR + VAT. Includes 4 lunches and 3 dinners, meeting rooms and course material. Does not include transportation and accommodation.

2014 HOST – CRC 787 (TU Berlin and its Center of NanoPhotonics) The Collaborative Research Centre 787 "Semiconductor Nanophotonics: Materials, Models, Devices" combines three complementary areas of research aiming at the development of novel photonic and nanophotonic devices. Currently more than 120 scientists from Berlin and Magdeburg are working within the CRC 787. This joint venture of fundamental and applied research at universities and publicly funded research institutes is unique within Germany. The CRC 787 comprises a total of 17 projects from TU Berlin. www.sfb787.tu-berlin.de
