A MINDSET SHIFT

EMBRACE A NEW WAY OF THINKING…

TO EMBRACE A NEW WAY OF THINKING REQUIRES

LETTING GO OF OLD WAYS…

A discarding of that which is not conducive for what you now want to achieve…

ENTELECHIESThe point where potential becomes reality

POTENTIALcapable of becoming or that which is possible

*as opposed to actual*

WRITE DOWN FOUR THINGS THAT YOU BELIEVE ARE YOUR

POTENTIALS

ALL THE COMPONENTS ARE THERE TO HELP YOU REACH

ENTELECHY• 2 Peter 1:3 According to His divine

power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue.

• Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee and before thou came forth out of the womb I sanctified thee…

• Jeremiah 30: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil to give you an expected end.

• I Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

• You must get to the place where you understand your assignment and make no adjustments or prevision to retreat.

BECOMINGAn Example displayed by the Monarch

Butterfly

Stage One The caterpillar larvae. The caterpillar is born of a fertilized egg and released by its mom on a leaf. After the caterpillar emerges it eats its shell and them begins eating its way into life transformation.

Stage Two- The caterpillar continues to grow by eating. The caterpillar consumes much more than its weight in its very short existence. I suppose realizing its need for the energy it will take to become its purpose…

Stage Three- (looking for a place) The caterpillar sensing the time for change looks for a place to get connected. The connection must be with a live substance, nothing artificial. The caterpillar makes the connection by digging into the surface and strengthening that connection making sure it will hold up during the transformation process.

Stage Four- After the connection is secured; the process of metamorphosis takes on the shedding phase. Where the old familiar skin is detached because of what is happening inside. The external manifestation is ended and therefore shed. It is because of what is inside that makes the outside becomes changed.

Stage Five- No more old. At this stage the skin of the caterpillar (the old is completely detached). Even the skin that is used to attach the caterpillar to the wood no longer has a connection to the becoming butterfly. This process is very violent. The caterpillar looks like it is in a fight with itself. It must move violently to shake off the old, eventually the old falls to the ground and is forever no longer a part of the process.

Stage Six- the Cocoon, gets hard and quiet. The internal struggle is no longer visibly seen however much transformation is beginning inside. It is not visible to the naked eye, but time reveals that a process is taking place in this stage. After some time however the hard shell becomes so transparent and visible, one can see what has happened and is happening inside the cocoon.

Stage Seven – Beauty inside now seen on the outside…the beauty of the butterfly can now be seen by all. As the butterfly continues to transform the colors of the wings become more vibrant and visible. In this stage the wingspan of the butterfly is only a fraction of its eventual full capacity.

However, after much internal fortitude to get outside the cocoon; using all its inner strength, it emerges. The wings now fill with blood and begin to expand. This is a slow process and the butterfly knows to wait patiently for the wings to expand and dry to reach full capacity before assuming flight.

The finished productBEAUTIFUL!

Stage Eight – Making an exit/entrance assuming the intended position. The most difficult stage of the butterfly process is breaking free from the cocoon and expanding the wings so the butterfly is in a position to fly. The wings must be freed. This is achallenging process for the young butterfly.

HOMEWORK• LOOK OVER YOUR LIST

OF POTENTIALS• IDENTIFY WHICH

STAGE , LIKE THE MONARCH BUTTERFLY, THAT EACH IS IN

• MAKE A DELIBERATE COMMITMENT TO SEE EACH POTENTIAL REACH ENTELECHY
