Their burning questionHow would they complete the phrase “How might I ...”

How are they already exploring the question?

What do they need to further their exploration?

Sustainability learning

‘The respectful interdependence of

people and living systems is coming

back to life’ John Thackara

Having gained five years experience working across

visual and service design, sustainability, system

innovation, and learning product development, I’ve

acquired a multidisciplinary skillset. I see Enrol

Yourself as both a practical structure for my own

development, and a prototype to question the role of

learning in current and future society. My curriculum

is all about exploring areas where my interests and

experiences intersect, building on my existing skillset

and growing a network of collaborators.

DesignLearning & education Living systems

Deepen experience of leading design

processes to delivery, applying

advanced creative and critical thinking

throughout.

Develop understanding of learning

philosophies and first hand

experience of learning systems;

local, international, formal, informal.

Develop understanding of

environmental, human and spiritual

ecology, and experience of

sustainable lifestyles and practices.

How can design of learning

experiences - and the

systems by which they are

accessed and delivered -

be tools to enhance this

interdependence?

Sustainable innovation Education innovation Sustainability learning

Explore approaches for sustainable

design, such as biomimicry, and

understand methods for creating

consumer demand for sustainability.

Explore emerging models for

learning at different scales, both

technological and face-to-face,

and connect to practitioners.

Exploring approaches to teaching

and changing mindsets in a variety

of contexts, to build on my ability to

design and implement curriculums.
