WHAT YOU WILL LEARN Recognizing the need to build institutional knowledge about the expanding array of options, AMTA is conducting a first-of-its-kind educational workshop focusing exclusively on enhanced recovery for membrane desalination. Working in conjunction with the Southwest Membrane Operators Association (SWMOA), the United States Bureau of Reclamation (USBR), the University of New Mexico, and New Mexico Desal, AMTA has developed a program that will feature representatives from more than 15 different suppliers from the US, Australia, and the Middle East discussing their respective enhanced recovery strategies, including: an overview of the technology, ideal applications, examples of successful implementation, maximum achievable recoveries, and costs (as applicable). Workshop attendees will have the unique opportunity to gain a firsthand understanding of these technologies and pose questions to the suppliers in a series of moderator-facilitated interactive forums.
