    Soil Pollution

    The soil pollution is caused by the garbage that people leave on thefloor of your house, your street, the garden of their city, or the pineforests when they do a picnic, in the edge of the road when theydrive,and also on the beaches, when at the end of a pleasant day lastsummer by the sea, returning to their homes and leaving

    the debris and garbage in the sand.

    Water Pollution

    The contaminated water can be in many ways:

    -The accumulation of trash and debris fromthe wells and water courses by domesticsewage that villages, towns and cities castin rivers or seas;

    - The toxic waste that some plants release

    into rivers;- The chemicals that farmers use to combat

    the diseases of their plants, and rainwaterthat dragged into the rivers and the sheetsof water in the subsoil;

    - By laundering illegal, or unauthorized boatson the high seas, who leave fuel ;

    - The radioactive nuclear waste , depositedon the seabed;

    Air Pollution

    There are different causes of air pollution :

    - The smoke coming out the chimneys of factories ;

    - The smoke coming out the exhaust pipes of transport;

    - The incineration of waste in the open (ie, garbage burning);

    - The use in excess of insecticides and other sprays (deodorants,disinfectants and the environment, etc.);

    The air pollution can cause the air that you breathe you becomeill. When you breathe polluted air often, these particles can bedeposited in your lungs. Theair pollution can cause headaches or

    irritate your throat and can also make your eyes water and irritatethem.

    We live surrounded by sounds : people talking, machinery and appliances thatwork, the music of a nightclub, cars passing, children playing ...

    The increased noise in the environment around us created a new form ofpollution - noise pollution .

    The operation of motorcycles, automobiles and other vehicles .

    How to prevent Soil Pollution

    - To have quality of life and do not put your health at risk isnecessary that the environment is protected from the constantassaults of man.

    - Caring for domestic and other wastes that degrade and pollute

    the environment.- Decrease the amount of fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides that

    are used in agriculture, which pollute soil and contaminateground water.

    - Protect the water trying to treat and clean up the sewers and thewater coming from factories.

    - Clean rivers, wells and forests.

    How to prevent Water Pollution

    Try to follow these tips to prevent water pollution:

    - Do not throw oil or fried food scraps in sinks or in privatebecause, besides causing blockage hampers the treatment ofsewage;

    - Do not throw trash in the toilet as dental floss, sanitary pads

    and hair - this prevents clogging;

    - Do not overdo the use of cleaning products like bleachcontaining chlorine. Use sparingly, according to themanufacturers' recommendations;

    - Use biodegradable soap or detergent;

    How to prevent Air Pollution

    Stipulate limits of pollution levels in urban and rural environments. Criteria strict rules regarding greenhouse gas emissions. Periodic monitoring of pollution sources. Encourage the use of cleaner technologies. Use equipment that reduce levels of exhaust gases, which can

    include: automotive catalytic converters, filters clean-up in thechimneys of industries, among others.

    Constantly monitor places where solid wastes are deposited, so thatthere is fire.

    Check daily air quality. Promote reforestation of degraded areas.

    Development of projects for preventive against possible air pollution inlarge proportion.

    How to prevent Noise Pollution

    To avoid the harmful effects of noise pollution is important:

    -Avoid places with too much noise, listen to music on a low to mediumvolume, avoid places with high concentrations of people talking, stay awayfrom the speakers at concerts and festive events and close the windows ofthe vehicle in local traffic noisy.

    Learn about the noise levels caused by elements that may be presentin everyday life (approximately - in decibels)

    - dripping tap (20 db) - music low (40 db) - quiet conversation (40-50 dB) - restaurant with movement (70 db)

    - Hair dryer (90 db) - Truck (100 db) - jackhammer (110 dB)
