English Music Schedule

Special notes/Reminders: Please look at the schedule and plan ahead to prepare yourself so you can be ready for rehearsals and

to minister at Mass. Pay attention to songs that are new to you, especially the text, page turns, etc! Looking over this on your own will also help us have more efficient rehearsals.

Don’t forget to take time to read & reflect over the Mass readings. It will help you pray with the music.

Note that we will continue to have the Laudate choir serve at our special masses and they have separate rehearsals. The choir is open to anyone who wishes to participate, whether for one mass or the entire season. These schedules & music are noted within this schedule.

As ministers we help create a quiet, prayerful space for those who arrive early for Mass. We will therefore no longer rehearse music in the Church before Mass. Keep this in mind as you arrive and take your seat in the choir area. Warm up and mark your book at home and be ready to practice music with the assembly 10 minutes before Mass.

During the Christmas season: be prepared to sing Christmas Carols 10 minutes before Mass begins

The 1st two weekends of Advent are cantor or duet weekends.

The choirs sing on Dec. 17th.

Note that due to the way the 4th Sunday of Advent turns into Christmas Eve (!) we will have a special weekend mass schedule.

We will not have rehearsals the week of Dec. 25th. We will have a special rehearsal schedule & dates during the week of Jan. 1st.
