Civil Services Examination Training Programme2010-11Full time Free of cost Training Programme for UPSC Civil

Services Examination (IAS/IPS etc.) (72 candidates - 36General + 12 SC + 12 ST+ 12 SEBC) will start from September

2010 at SPIPA.. Procedure for admission will be as follows:-.

1. Candidate must be a Citizen of India.(a) AGE LIMIT : As on 1/ 8 / 2011 General 21 to 30 Yrs.,

SC / ST 21 to 35 Yrs., SEBC 21 to 33 Yrs.(b) Educational Qualification : Graduate from anyrecognised University / Deemed University established underAct of the Central Government or State Government.(c) Entrance Test will be taken in three stages. Themedium of examination shall be Gujarati and English.

On the basis of the performance in General StudiesTest and English Test as per category wise merit, 2.5 times ofapproved strength (72 seats) candidates will be called forEssay Test (100 Marks) & Personal Interview (50 Marks).Final selection will be made from marks obtained out of total350 Marks on category wise merit basis.(d) Exam Fee :- SC/ST/SEBC Rs. 50/- , General CandidatesRs. 100/-Crossed Postal Order / DD in favour of DeputyDirector, Account , SPIPA, Ahmedabad

(e) Eligibility :- Candidates whose mother tongue is Gujaratior who have passed their secondary or Higher Secondaryexamination from Gujarat or who have obtained graduation

degree from Gujarat or those who are staying in Gujaratcontinuously for five years before 1st August 2010 and aresettled in Gujarat shall be eligible to appear in the entrancetest of the coaching class.

2. For Application : Application form as per format must reachSPIPA through post or in person from 14-6-2010 to 30-6-2010.Candidates sending their applications by post must attach Selfaddressed Rs. 5/- stamped envelope. Application will also beaccepted in person during 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at SPIPAexcept Sunday and Public Holiday. Candidates should enclosecaste certificate (For SC/ST/OBC) / DD/PO with application. Ifany of these documents is not attached with application, theform will not be entertained.3. Application form can be downloaded from SPIPAs websitewww.spipa.gujarat.gov.in.

4. Application can also be made in good and legiblehandwritings or typed in the below mentioned format.
