Our customers ocasionally encounter country-specific regulations. Our experience and understanding have helped us to provide the tailored support they need, with outstanding results.

A client from the oil & gas industry was looking to operate in a country that required them to engage local content, i.e. the project required them to employ local people, services and goods. In turn, the client’s travel management company (TMC) was tasked to include local content in their services. This involved setting up and staffing a local entity according to the country’s regulations. After their initial TMC had failed to progress on the requirement, Travel Cue was selected as the new partner.

We set about fulfilling the local content requirements by setting up a local entity, engaging local staff and enabling optimised fare procurement and local billing services to the client. This was all accomplished in three short months from the day of our appointment as their partner.

In addition, through proactive travel programme management, Travel Cue has succeeded in helping the client optimise travel procurement processes to realise substantial cost savings in excess of 15% within the first quarter of the contract.
