AIT-Tiger Leong International Innovation and Leadership Camp III

The AIT-Tiger Leong International Innovation and Leadership Camp was conceived in 2016 as an idea by Professor Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai, President of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT ) who wanted to organize a summer camp for top undergraduates students in Asia that will expose students to important and relevant issues in today’s world in a highly interactive environment.

The purpose of this camp is to motivate the students and aspire them to become global citizens and innovative leaders of Asia.

AIT alumnus Ir. Tiger Leong who is an avid supporter of the Institute was so impressed by the idea that he offered to co-sponsor the camp. Soon after, Prof.

The first camp was held in January 2017 with a total of 21 participants from ASEAN countries Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

In the second camp in July 2017, the organizers decided to widen its reachand included other Asian countries. The second camp produced 25 participants from Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Lao, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
