Set on acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with a courtyard, Emeritus at The Plaza is considered one of Las Vegas’ premier senior living communities. Located close to US-95, our community offers 179 apartments on two floors. With a full range of services, residents can remain here even if their health needs change.

Our common areas include our lovely dining room, TV room, library, activities and fitness centers and chapel. We also offer a wide range of activities each month, including exercise classes, off-site excursions, parties, hobbies and cultural events. Emeritus at The Plaza is conveniently located in a residential area, near Wal-Mart, Target, Olive Garden and Marie Callender’s. In addition, several medical facilities are close by, including Mountain View Hospital and a nursing home rehabilitation facility if ever needed.

• Assisted Living: As we get older, many of us naturally need a helping hand – perhaps someone to help us get ready for the day, help manage our medications or pre-pare special meals. Sometimes that’s all we need to live safely on our own. Our staff is here to offer that helping hand, but only when and if you need it. Our full range of assisted living services are designed to help you maintain your health, so you can live as independently as possible. These include:

To ensure we meet your needs, we use a state-of-the-art computerized assessment system, called the wE Care® Resident Evaluation Program. This helps us accurately evaluate and monitor assisted living services for each resi-dent. In addition, our Director of Resident Care will visit with you on a regular basis to personally discuss health-related issues and to monitor your progress.

• Alzheimer’s and Dementia care: Our community of-fers an innovative program, called Join Their Journey®, for residents with Alzheimer’s or memory disorders. The premise of the program is simple: we create specially designed memory care neighborhoods that provide a personalized, familiar and secure setting tailored to each resident’s unique needs. Within this environment, our highly trained staff joins residents in their moment, rather than trying to bring them into our reality. Through this approach, we recognize individuality, encourage choices and help residents maintain their dignity.

Friendship Suites Just right for many seniors Perhaps you’d love to live here, but you’re concerned about your budget. Or maybe you no longer want to live alone. Either way, we offer the perfect solution – friendship suites. Seniors are brought together to share an apartment and cost savings, while receiving the same outstanding services and amenities all residents enjoy.

Short-Stay A great way to get to know usIf you want to experience living at an Emeritus community before making a permanent move, or you’re being discharged from a hospital or nursing care facility and aren’t quite ready to go home, consider our short term stay program.
