campus but Sejong campus, which is 3 hours away from the main campus.:

College of Humanities(인문대학), College of Science and Technology(과학기술대학), College of Business and

Economics(경상대학), College of Pharmacy(약학대학), School of Public Administration(공공행정학부),

Department of Global Sport Studies (국제스포츠 학부)

⑦: There can be several sections in the same Course No.; for example, for BUSS203-01, BUSS203

indicates Course No., and 01 indicates Section No. Professor’s contact information and syllabus of the

course are available by clicking the ‘Course No’ link. If nothing is filled in categories, please click the

‘Syllabus Document’ at the bottom of the page (next to the memo icon).

⑦: The first number after 4 alphabets in the course no. indicates academic level of the course. For

example, BUSS204 is for sophomores as the number after BUSS is 2. (1: freshman, 2: sophomore, 3: junior, and 4: senior) Although exchange/visiting students can choose a course regardless of the academic level, it would be better for students to check the level and the pre-requisite beforehand.

7. Important Tips Course registration schedule is all based on Korea Standard Time. Course registration system is optimized for Internet Explorer 8.0 or later version. As course registration is on a first-come-first-served basis, it is recommended to start the registration as soon as the period begins (Feb 1, 2017 (Wed) 10:00 KST). Signing up for some courses could be very competitive since there are limited seats for each course. Students are required to check their own ID and PW before the period starts. Online course registration is a standard and first way to register for courses. When a class is full, it is acceptable to join the class ONLY with the Extra Permission Slip from the

professor during ‘Add/Drop Period’ (Further notice will be given at the Orientation session).

If your name has been put on the ‘waiting list’ when trying to sign up for a course during the official registration period, it does not mean that you failed to get in, but the final result will be known on the designated date. Please wait and check the result on February 14 to see whether or not you are successfully registered. Those who missed to register for any course during the official registration periods above can try again

during the add/drop period after the semester starts.

There is such a high demand for several courses, especially within the study areas of Business, so it is

recommended to find a substitute or a similar course from elective courses or other departments. (ex.

Business School – Political Science and Economics)

Korean courses for international students can be found at http://sugang.korea.ac.kr > General Subject >

General Studies > Elective > IFLS108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 240, 241, 242, 243, 245, 246. (NOTE: IFLS108, 109,

110,111 -50 is ONLY for graduate students)

NOTE : If the course syllabus for spring semester 2017 has not been uploaded, please refer to one from

the previous corresponding semester (ex. spring 2016). As long as the course number and title are the

same taught by the same professor, the syllabus will be similar.

Please check the list of courses available for spring semester 2017 at http://sugang.korea.ac.kr regularly

as the course list will be updated and is subject to change by the course registration period.
