before meetings, but you

member in order to get

If you missed our first
meeting fear not! The
next meeting will be
Wednesday, Sep. 16 in
Glass 102. To re-cap,
there will be many
opportunities to get
involved this semester!
Service, fundraising,
marketing, and social
events will all need your
help in making this the
best year for EMA
members. Experience,
friendships, and
marketability are all rea-
sons to try to get
involved as much as
possible.
REMEMBER:
In order to be eligible for
trips, tours, and events
you must apply for
membership online at
http://theemlife.com or
the EMA Facebook
webpage and pay your
dues by October 14th,
2009. Dues for new
members are $35 (which
includes an EMA polo)
and returning members
are $20 per semester.
Payments are accepted
online at the EMA

Morelock
Whitney is from Willard,
MO and is a Public Rela-
tions major. Her goal for
the future is to work in a
PR department for ath-
letic teams.
She hopes to meet great
people, travel, learn
about sports behind the
scenes and have fun in
EMA.
A few of her hobbies in-
clude watching sports
and being with friends. A
fun fact about Whitney:
She has a fish named
bear!

Keep in mind…
Our New York tour will be October
14-18 during fall break. Shanna will
keep us updated.
Fundraising events thus far will be
in October.
Everyone will need to participate in
2 socials, 2 service volunteer op-
portunities, 2 fundraising activities
and attend 2 meetings in order to
receive SOFAC funding for tours.
Majors Fair:
The Majors Fair is designed to as-
sist our undeclared students in the
selection of a major or toward an
avenue of academic interest. By
gathering representatives from indi-
vidual departments and colleges,
the Majors Fair allows participants
to explore their academic options,
interact with faculty and staff, and
gather information in a fun, relaxed
atmosphere.
Wednesday, September 23 in
the PSU Ballroom from 9am-
3pm
