As we gather this morning, let us pause to remember,

that in this region, we live and work and worship

on lands that are the un-ceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people.

May we live with respect on this land, and live in peace with its people.

We turn to you, knowing that you understand us,

forgive us, and love us like a Mother, and so we pray with confidence and faith,

“Our Father, who art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name.

Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.And forgive us our trespasses,

As we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, 

But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory,
