CREATING A DIGITAL SIGNATURE ADOBE ACROBAT DC 1. Open Adobe Acrobat DC. 2. Click Edit in the top menu and choose Preferences. 3. A new window will open, then click Signatures from the left Categories menu. 4. Click More… for Identities & Trusted Certificates.
5. A new window will open, click Digital IDs from the left menu, then Add ID.
6. A new window will open, choose A new digital ID I want to create now from
the options, then click Next.

7. Choose New PKCS#12 digital lD file, then click Next.

8. Enter your identity information, Key Algorithm: 2048-bit RSA, Use digital
signature for: Digital Signature and Data Encryption. Review for accuracy, then click Next.

9. Enter a password for the Digital ID File, confirm password, click Finish.

10. The Digital ID File is now ready for use! ADOBE ACROBAT X PRO 1. Open Adobe Acrobat X Pro. 2. Click Tools from the right menu, the Sign & Certify. 3. Click More Sign & Certify, the Security Settings to open a new window. 4. Click Digital IDs from the left menu, the. Add ID.
5. A new window will open, choose A new digital ID I want to create now from
the options, then click Next.

9. The Digital ID File is now ready for use!
SIGNING A DOCUMENT IF A DIGITAL SIGNATURE IS ALREADY ON FILE AND A SIGNATURE BLOCK IS PRESENT 1. Open the Form in Adobe. 2. Click the block that requires a signature. This will open a new window with
your saved digital signature. 3. If you have more than one signature on file, choose the appropriate
signature, then click Continue.

4. Enter the password for your Digital ID, then Click Sign.

5. A new window will open, prompting you to save the PDF. 6. Upon saving, your digital signature will populate in the signature block. 7. The PDF is now ready to send to the appropriate contact.
SIGNING A DOCUMENT IF A DIGITAL SIGNATURE IS ALREADY ON FILE AND A SIGNATURE BLOCK IS NOT PRESENT 1. Open the Form in Adobe. 2. Click Tools from the top menu, then Fill & Sign. 3. The Fill & Sign menu will display, choose Fill and Sign.

4. Click the Sign icon in the top menu bar, then choose whether you want to add
your signature or just initials.

5. Choose how you would like to add a signature or initials (Type, Draw, or Image), then click Apply. The signature or initials will populate onto the PDF.
6. Move the signature or initials to the appropriate location on the PDF. The
signature or initials can be altered to fit the required block, but must be done before saving the PDF.

7. Save the PDF. 8. The PDF is now ready to send to the appropriate contact.
