• 3 collective city FTE’s entering GIS data via COGO from PDFs in the development process

• 1/3 of city GIS resources, recreating data that already exists

• Tens of thousands of map features within five different departments created each year

• 1800 different map layers in our city GIS

Project Goals

• Establish a set of developer-friendly GIS and AutoCAD Standards for submittal of all development

• Implement a streamlined QA/QC process and a conversion model tool for the submission of AutoCAD drawings into the City’s GIS
