Plan for Optimizing Transport Electrification Using Advanced Energy Storage Technologies

• Conduct a Feasibility Study, funded by NYSERDA, to determine if the use of an advanced energy storage system to provide electricity to power refrigerated trailers being moved on the Hudson River from Albany to New York City is a viable option.

• Develop an advanced energy storage system used to transport refrigeration units.

• Conduct a Demonstration Project.
