Dear Research Team,
Did you know that as many as 928 million people in the world live in slums? Most of these are in poorer countries without an electricity supply. Millions of people still live without a constant supply of clean water.
Electricaid UK aims to help people in countries in Africa. One of our projects is to bring electricity to more towns and villages, and provide them with the technology to be able to detect the amount of water they have.

We would like you to design an electronic sensor so that the people we help will know when their wells have enough fresh water.
We look forward to hearing from you with your ideas.
Yours faithfully,
John Simmonds (director of Electricaid UK)

Your Challenge is . . . . . . .
To make a circuit with a sensor/switch that will tell us when the well has enough fresh
water.

A bit of help . . . . .
Carefully start adding water.
As soon as the light shows, the well has enough water.
