Irene is 76 years old and loves playing the word game Scrabble. In this game, you build wordsfrom letters. Each letter has got a different number of points and the person with the highest scorewins. Long words dont always give more points than short wordssometimes its better to play ashort word with more valuable letters.

Irene lives in Barnet, England. She is always looking for a partner to play with. Its very difficult, soshe learned how to use a computer. Now she sits at home with her computer and plays InternetScrabble with people from many different countries.

Today Irenes at the top of the International Scrabble League. Shes one of the best players in theworld!
