Eight Parts of Speech

1. NounThe name of a person, place, thing, or idea(girl, bull, island, map, sea, marriage, love, war)

2. PronounA word which takes the place of a noun(I, we, you, he, she, it, they, who, whose, whom)

3. VerbA word which expresses an action, state, or condition.(run, walk, climb, sing, dream, think, hope, be, become)
