When laws related to the EHEA are passed, universities
Will have a very large autonomy to define their syllabuses and the name of their degrees.
Will have to account for the results by means of an evaluation and accreditation process.
Will complete the implementation of the new degree system:
• Undergraduate (240 ECTS credits)• Master’s (postgraduate courses, 60 to 120 ECTS credits) • Doctorate (60 ECTS credits + thesis)

Information dissemination about the reform process
Since 2002, the UPC has organized and participated in numerous conferences, seminars, meetings and all kind of events dealing with the EHEA.
Our website includes a section about the EHEA.
We need to make internal communication more effective: explaining clearly to the staff the principles, elements and benefits of the change.
And the most important thing: we have to provide information to students and to society.
