Does your student have Fridays off? Enroll them today!The Fall 2014 semester includes 14 class sessions and a CELEBRATION PERFORMANCE & EXHIBITION on December 12, 2014 at 5:30 pm to share with family, friends and the public!

A limited number of scholarships are available for up to 50% of tuition.

Student artists may register for one course or up to seven courses with a supervised lunch available. Class size is 7-12 students for most courses to provide a productive small group learning environment with individual support.

Courses include music, theatre, visual arts, cooking and additional areas by licensed, certified teachers, professional artists, and other instructors in the field with extension ideas for parents to continue the learning beyond the Friday session.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHYWe believe in providing a caring and stimulating atmosphere in which emotional, intellectual, social and personal growth occurs. PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTIONSangre de Cristo School of Dance adheres to standards set by the National Association of School of Dance, including curriculum and assessment methods.

SANGRE DE CRISTO BALLET company is a com-munity-based pre-professional youth company. The company consists of students, community members, and guests. The company offers original performances in classical, contemporary, and modern dance. The stu-dent criteria for becoming a Sangre de Cristo Ballet member is to achieve ballet level four or higher, to be enrolled in and actively attend all classes offered at that particular level, to be willing to attend all sched-uled rehearsals, and to prioritize Sangre de Cristo Bal-let’s activities over other extracurricular engagements. Once a student has agreed to and fulfilled all of the above criteria, they are given the opportunity to join the ranks of Sangre de Cristo Ballet based on their commitment and work ethic. The Sangre de Cristo Bal-let guest and community member criteria are based on production needs.

Please register directly with the School of Dance at (719) 295-7221 Tuition rates are hourly, discounted prices are applied for multiple hours. Hourly tuition rates qualify for 10% discount for additional family members.

ENROLLMENT: Where possible, class enrollment limitations are included in course descriptions. The Arts Center reserves the right of cancelling classes which do not meet minimum enrollment.

HOLIDAY/CANCELLATIONS: Classes will not meet on major holidays, unless students are notified otherwise. Make-up classes are the responsibility of the instructor and student. Please, no walk-ins.

SCHOLARSHIPS: A limited number of Blanche Lapin and Ruth DePalma, XCEL Energy, and Arts Associates scholarships are available for up to half tuition costs. Scholarship forms must be filled-out completely and returned to the Arts Center one week prior to the beginning of class. NO REFUND AFTER FIRST CLASS SESSION. Registered students in classes can-celled due to less than minimum enrollment may transfer to another class or be reimbursed for the full tuition.
