Join us on one of the above class trip days and receive:• Raging Waters Water Park entry 10am-5pm• Mariner’s Pier Amusement Rides pass valid 11am-5pm• Educational Workshop (available on first come first serve basis on Thursday and Friday only) • 1 Free Chaperone pass for each 10 students

Schools participating in this event are responsible to arrange for the supervision of their students while they are enjoying our piers and water parks. We recommend a chaperone to student ratio that is appropriate to the age and behavioral characteristics of the children, that students be assigned to “buddy” groups and that students be instructed to remain with their chaperones and buddy groups.

PAYMENTAll payments must be received in full by May 16th, 2016. We accept purchase orders/school vouchers, checks, credit cards or cash. There are NO REFUNDS for unused wristbands. The wristbands are not valid for any other day.

Registration forms can be submitted at any time, even without a payment, as long as the payment is received by May 16th, 2016 deadline. We understand that you might not know the exact number of students participating on a class trip at the time of registration. One free chaperone for each 10 registered students. The student and chaperone counts can be altered until issuing the final payment (May 16th the latest).

Please remember to register early, availability is limited and varies with each workshop. Workshops are not mandatory.

SEASHORE ECOLOGY • Dive into sea life in this hands on ecology workshop led by the renowned Wetlands Institute. Meet several live animals that live in our seas and bays, and learn how to help protect our natural resources.

PEER LEADERSHIP ON THE BEACH • Through a series of cooperative games students learn the foundation of good decision making. Games are designed to be fun while encouraging communication and self-confidence.

PEEK BEHIND THE SCENES OF THE GHOST SHIP • Learn about the entertainment industry’s best kept secrets, such as make-up art, improvisation techniques and sound effects.

BASIC PHYSICS BOARDWALK STYLE (self guided) • A comprehensive workbook leads students through a series of physics problems illustrated through the use of amusement ride examples. This is the perfect opportunity for students to understand how classroom theory is applied to real life situations.

MEALS Make a day on the Piers hassle-free by adding a flexible Meal Voucher or Jumbo’s Pizza Voucher.

MEAL VOUCHERS* are redeemable at Jumbo’s, Curley’s and Wrecker’s Grille front counter. A pre-designed menu features soda in a refillable souvenir cup (all-day refills for only $0.99 per re-fill) and entrée for $12.88 (plus applicable tax) per voucher.

JUMBO’S PIZZA VOUCHER is redeemable at Jumbo’s front counter and features a Jumbo size slice of cheese pizza and a large soda for $7.79 (plus applicable tax) per voucher.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? After you submit your registration form, you will receive an email confirmation with an invoice. Please remember, your payment is due May 16th, 2016. After May 16th, you will receive an event packet with event wristbands and instructions for the bus driver.

*TAX IMPLICATIONS: NJ Public schools are exempt from paying 7% NJ State Sales Tax as well as 2% Cape May Couty Tourism Tax. Payment must be made by a school-issued check or a purchase order. You must submit appropriate tax exempt certificate along with your application. Private and out-of-state schools WITH an NJST-5 form are exempt from paying 7% NJ State Sales Tax but are required to pay 2% Cape May County Tourism Tax on amusement and catering portion only. A valid, signed copy of your school’s NJST-5 form must accompany the final order to be eligible for tax exemption. Payment must be made by a check issued from the account of the school named on the applicable NJST-5.
