• Explore your Home Page on Edmodo.• Know where to find key elements on the Home

Page.

If you haven’t already done so, open your “home page”.

We are going to explore the home page a bit before you change any settings. Here is your image that represents you. This is your “User Photo”.

You can view all of the latest posts from your classes or specific ones.

You can also see which groups and classes you belong to. By clicking on a group, you will see the posts from that group only. You will also be able to make posts on that group page.

Posts will appear on the main section of the page. You can reply to posts or tag them.

Sometimes your teacher may want you to post something; whether it is text, a file, or link. Make sure you send it to the right class!

Notifications let you know when something new has happened from your classes or groups.

If you tag something, it will appear here.

Parents get their own code so they can see what is going on in your classes. Give this code to a parent or guardian and help them sign up!

To come back to your home page, click on Home.

Click on “Profile” to view and personalize your profile.

In the next tutorial we will explore how to change your settings to personalize your Edmodo account by going to “Account” then “Settings”. You can also log out from “Account” then “Logout”.
