Trikom Treats has done it again! They have tweaked their recslightly to create more potent and still great tasting edibles! Aby the packaging, I kept all products frozen. not resorting to prescription medicine,and being able to smoke a joint and goto sleep and relax, was something thatI didnt know was benecial until now.Thats basically where it correlates,rapping about it, writing about it, singingabout it. Some of the best songs in theworld have to do with marijuana.

How different was music 15-20 years ago, and how differentwas cannabis 15-20 years ago?

Music is free. Cannabis is not. It isdifferent; because the way music isshared the old dinosaur way of doingbusiness, where you had to be promotedor signed, the internet changed allthat. Theres a direct connection tothe fans. In doing that, now everybodyhas a direct connection to the fans,so they have to sort through a lot ofnon-sense to get to what theyre reallylooking for. So I think thats the biggestdifference is. With the legislature andpeople voting cannabis instead of beingnegative but rather a positive its goingto have it transition and its going to beable to regulated differently and taxeddifferently and thats going to raise thevalue, I believe, of whose involved inthe cannabis industry. Now they haventdone that for music yet, they should dothat for music. They need to regulatehow its dispersed. But then you cantput a license or regulation on creativity,if you want to be able to sing you shouldbe able to sing, if you want to rap, youshould rap. You shouldnt have to besubjected to it, but thats what it is andthats the day and age we live in.

I have to confess that I am not the biggest fan ofvape pens, I happen to consider myself prettyold-school. I prefer to examine the ower andinhale the aroma as a part of the process. Withthat being said, vapes do have their place inthe industry. I often keep one handy when I'mout and about because of their discretion, I canusually medicate undetected.

Some of the drawbacks for me are the taste, andbeing paranoid about my lungs. Vape oils just donot taste natural to me and I have compromisedlungs, so using too much starts to irritate me.

Brass Knuckles Vape Cartridges are amongthe best I have ever tried. There is absolutelyno hint of a solvent and there are no mysteryavors to try to interpret. These cartridges taste

just like the strain they represent. Before I getinto my review, I have to mention that the penitself is a work of art. The pen is a gold autodrawthis is just downright gorgeous.

The rst avor of vape I tried was Skywalker. Iwas pleasantly surprised by the avor. This oil

is the closest to the actual ower I have evertasted and offers a full gram of CO2 oil. I couldnot detect any solvents whatsoever. Using thatbeautiful pen also added to the experience.Banana OG was the next avor I tried. This onetasted a little lighter than Skywalker; however,it was still very effective. It felt very clean andhigh-quality just like the rst one. I found it hardto gauge which one may be stronger. Last butnot least was the Gorilla Glue OG. This oneto me was pretty mild in taste, but that did notreect in its efcacy. After inhaling only a coupleof times brought rapid relief.

All in all, I am very glad I was given theopportunity to review this product. It really hashelped to improve my opinion on using a vape.These really do not taste like you are inhalingchemicals, and most importantly to me, theyare free of articial avors. I would have to saythat my favorite of the three was Skywalker.

Napalm OG ReviewThis Indica dominant hybrid is a heavy hittingOG strain with super dense buds and that veryearthy OG smell. The high is very mellow, not

LOL Taffy ReviewIn this review we will take a close look at LOLTaffy. I was given the two most popular avorsto try, Grape Berry and Tropical Punch, theirtwo best selling avors, and we know why!There are only a few different tafes on the

market, but I will do my best to give you a n ideaof what this product is like so that there are nosurprises.

Nearly all of the taffy I've tried in the past hasbeen on the light side when it comes to potency.This is the primary thing that differentiates LOLTafes from all others. Their tafes come in twodifferent potencies 40mg and the double dose80mg. I tested out the double dose and withthat said, please proceed with caution.

My rst impression of the grape avor was thatof nostalgia. I had an immediate ashback ofriding my bicycle to the local store for a six packof Now and Laters. LOLs grape tafes are not

too sweet and have a little bit of tartness. Ifyou are sensitive to the taste of medicine youmay be able to detect some, but it is not at alloverpowering or unpleasant.

The Tropical Punch was the other avor Itried. The avor was exactly as I would expect

tropical punch to taste like. Both avors havea complexity to their tastes. For instance, thetropical punch initially taste exactly how youwould imagine, but then you are a hit withthe second prole that's more like a sweet-and-sour candy. That complexity provides anexcellent experience for someone who likescomplex avor.

Both avors were delicious, and the candy asa medicine is extremely potent. That nice littlepackage allows me to have my medication, andcandy too. I thoroughly enjoyed LOL Taffy andyou I think you would too! Ask for them at yourlocal dispensary today.

Q. What kind of testing do you use?(liquid or gas chromatography?)

A. For our potency testing, we employboth liquid and gas chromatography,but we also often employ massspectrometry when quantifying smallresidue or volatile compounds.

Q. Please explain what liquid andgas chromatography are and whatthe difference is.

A. Chromatography is thescientic method of separatingthe various components of amixture into its individual parts.Liquid chromatography shows thecomposition of a sample as it exists inthe raw sample (e.g. a ower beforeit is smoked or an edible after it hasafter it has been produced), and gaschromatography shows a simulationof the composition of a sample asit exists in a heated, vaporized (e.g.smoked) form.

Q. What kind of testing do you dofor edibles?

A. Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid(THCA) is found in abundance ingrowing and harvested cannabisand is a biosynthetic precursor ofTetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THCAis considered to be non-psychoactive,while THC is psychoactive. This isnta problem when smoking or vapingmedicine, because hot temperatureswill naturally decarboxylate THCA

into THC. However, this is not thecase with edible medicine. Ediblemedicine should be decarboxylated,or activated, before ingesting formaximum potency. THC activationis a mathematical calculation todetermine what percentage of thecombined THCA & THC moleculesis in the activated THC form. Onlyliquid chromatography can measurethe un-activated THCA, and thusis employed for all edible samples.We can also test edibles for manybiological and chemical contaminants

such as E. coli, Salmonella, molds,and solvents.Q. What is most challenging abouttesting ower?

A. Cannabis owers are fairlynon-homogenous, so samplingconsistency is a challenging issue,especially since our customersare providing a small sample fromtheir harvest. We therefore have toproperly sub-sample from a givensample. For these reasons, IronLaboratories has conducted in-houseresearch into sampling methods thatprovide the smallest margin of error,and weve developed our SOPs onthe basis of these data.

Q. What is most challenging about

testing edibles?

A. Many labs struggle with aspectsof testing edibles such as incompleteanalyte recoveries or inadequatehomogenization of the sample. IronLabs has employed specialized,ISO validated SOPs for dealing withthese difcult problems, allowing usto overcome such struggles.

Q. What is most challenging abouttesting concentrates?

A. Concentrates contain manycontaminants that can be dangerouseven at very low levels (ppm or ppb).Finding some of these compoundscan be tricky if labs have not optimizedtheir methods to fully recover thesedangerous compounds.

Q. If we cant test for less than200 parts per billion, and we knowthat less than 200 parts per billionbutane particles is carcinogenic- how do we know what we are

consuming is safe?A. We are not doctors and are inno way saying something is healthyfor you or not healthy for you. Asexperts at analyzing cannabis, wecan only measure the amountsof compounds in a product andreport our ndings as accurately aspossible. When reporting residualsolvents in a cannabis product weutilize an expanded United StatesPharmacopoeia (USP) standardmethod and report the amounts

If a cannabis productcontains more than a certain amount,the sample is considered to containtoo much residual solvent and itwould not pass our test accordingto USP . In this method theacceptable levels for these solventswere established by evaluatingtoxicological information for manylaboratory and commercial solvents.In method USP Class 1solvents are solvents which areconsidered highly carcinogenicand this includes Benzene, Carbontetrachloride, Dichloroethane, andDichloroethene. The method goeson to further classify some 60solvents which may be harmful if

consumed, however these Class2 and Class 3 compounds areclassied by their decreasing orderof toxicity to humans. Butane whilenot listed in the original USP ,a standard method for measuringresidual solvents in the Food andDrug industry, is quantitated andreported in the Iron Laboratoriesexpanded USP method.Butane however, by its chemicalclassication would fall into theClass 3, less toxic Compounds forwhich the acceptable limit of residualsolvent in a product would be 5000ppm (parts per million) or 0.5%.Even the acceptable levels of Class1 solvents are well above the partsper billion level at 2 ppm or greater.In fact, under this method toxic levelsare determined with the assumptionyou are consuming 10 grams of thissubstance a day! While most peopleI know would have a hard time eatingone gram, we think its better to erron the side of caution. Pass or fail,we report the amount we nd, so

patients and caregivers can makeeducated decisions about whichmedicines they use.

Q. What are the differencesbetween Co2 and BHO testing?

A. Being different solvents withdifferent properties, CO2 and butaneextract cannabinoids, as well as otherplant compounds, at differing levelsof efciency. This means that eachextraction process would producea different prole of cannabinoids,

terpenes, fats, or other plantcomponents. In addition to this, theCO2 and butane solvents themselvescontain different impurities whichmay be retained as residual solventsin the nal product.

Q. How do you ensure a solidbaseline for consistent testingthat eliminates any variables?

A. All of the samples tested by IronLabs are prepared for testing underregulated and controlled conditions,which are rigorously documentedin accordance with our ISOaccreditation.

Q. What is your margin of accuracy

and how is that determined?

A. We have a 5% relative uncertaintyassociated with every sample,meaning we have a 95% margin ofaccuracy. We have conrmed thisthrough various prociency teststhat compare blind tests betweennumerous laboratories.

Q. Explain to our readers whyyou may get varying test resultsfrom different laboratories whensending out the same sample forblind testing.

A. Even when sample varianceis accounted for, some labs mayproduce different numbers thanother labs. This may be attributedto the different instruments used toanalyze the sample, the differentcertied reference materials(standards) used to calibrate with,or any errors produced by thetechnician during the analysis. IronLabs avoids these problems by using

multiple machines to cross referenceresults, by comparing standardsfrom multiple suppliers to conrmthe quality assurance of the batch,and by regulating and controllingthe environment where all standardsand samples are prepared to reducetechnician error.

Has itbecome too stale, or too soft? Didthe color change, avor change,aroma change? Most likely yourproduct will have multiple failuresas it reaches the end of its naturalfood life.

2) Set up a study to monitor theprogression of a product failure tosee how long that product takes togo from fresh and acceptable tounacceptable.

3) Monitor the deterioration of yourproduct by doing sensory studies(with trained panelists if possible),consumer testing, as well asthird party laboratory testing tomeasure bacterial growth, vitaminloss, color changes and rancidity.The lab will be able to put your

samples in controlled temperatureenvironments to simulate best andworst case storage conditions.

4) Once you have a clear picture ofyour product's shelf life from freshto a mess then you can work onsolving the issues that are causingit to be unacceptable or t for sale.If you have mold issues, you willwant to nd a preservative or lowerthe water activity.
