What does it mean to be a middle leader in church schools?

Over this academic year , in 3 sessions, attendees will explore what leadership is, how they lead and how it fits into their roles in school. Throughout this training there will be a clear focus on how this role looks different in a church school context. This course draws on the expertise of the Minster Teaching School middle leader training and church school leadership input by diocesan trainers. This workshop explores the importance of knowing your school so you are able to ‘tell your story’ to deliver the right message to inspection teams. Adrian focusses on drawing out the impact of your story and creating concise and powerful language and integrating this with the SEF. This is the first of 4 sessions to improve classroom practice, aimed at RQTs or teachers needing to refresh their classroom practice. This course will cover reading providing practical advice and exemplifying good practice.
