Brahma is the only true being and reality for the Hindu. Man’s goal is to escape the unreal physical and material world and

become a part of Brahma. This is done by “Karma” (good works) and through many reincarnations, until you reach the top of the “chain of being” and lose your identity in BRAHMA!

For Buddhists the cause of human misery is “desire” in the material world. The way of

peace is to get rid of “desire” by meditation and good “karma” (works) and by reincarnation to finally lose all consciousness and

existence by absorption into “nirvana”, the impersonal “ALL”! Again, the chain of being

ISLAM JUDAISMIslam is a more recent religion (7th Century A.D.). In some ways it is a counterfeit of Christianity, with its own

holy book, the “koran” and belief in a resurrection day; the good going to an edenic heaven and the wicked to a desolate hell. “Allah” is Islam’s god and “Mohammed” (the inventor of Islam) is his prophet. The Black Stone in Meccah is worshipped and repetitious chants are meritorious.

Today this is a “works” religion with many Jews refusing to believe in the Messiah.
