PART 1 Operation 1-1

1.General Description The ambulatory ECG recorder, Digital Walk, Model FM-180 is a digital ECG recorder allowing continuous 24-hour recording of ECG waveforms in daily life. Different from conventional cassette tape-recording Holter recorders, this instrument features digital recording of ECG waveforms on the multimedia card, MMC-64. The FM-180 can also store information of pacemaker pulses, acceleration sensor, and position sensor. Note: The multimedia card is an IC card composed of electrically erasable,

non-volatile IC memory referred to as “flash memory”. This offers the advantage that the data contained in the IC card is retained while the power is shut down, thereby eliminating the need for backup batteries.

・ CAUTION The FM-180 accepts only the multimedia card, MMC-64. Any attempt to use any other cards will cause the card error, or malfunction of the recorder.
