EBA IT Committee, established in 2010 and is a closed Commit-tee which unites companies engaged in producing and providing software prod-ucts and services. The Mission of the Committee is to facilitate the IT sec-tor development in Ukraineaccording to European businesspractices by advocating a professional IT commu-nity coherent vision and the members` collective interests.
What we do
IT industry legal support and promotion, facilitating communication between public sector and business community.
Committee Priorities 2012
• ElaborationofcollectivepositionfortheITbusi-ness community on issues of sector development.
• Lobbyingandinformationsupporttocompanymembers of the Committee on IT specific issues in: 1.Legislationandgovernmentregulation; 2. The education system.
• EncouragingtheattractionofinvestmentforITprojects – for start-ups as well as for big infra-structure projects (including techno parks).
• Participationinupgradinglegislationandadop-tion of new efficient regulation aimed at improving theinvestmentclimateforITsectordevelopment;counteracting corruption, monopoly and unfair competition within the IT sector.
• HarmonizationofcooperationbetweentheITsec-tor and the education system which is a prerequi-site of the IT sector development.
