IEEE is the world’s largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE was looking for PR support in China prior to the Smart Grid Word Forum (SGWF) taking place in Beijing from September 28 to September 29, 2011.
Approach
EASTWEST leveraged creative PR tactics to increase IEEE’s visibility, get coverage for IEEE and IEEE’s spokespeople among Chinese clean energy and mainstream business media outlets, this integrated approach combining online, social networking and media relations.

SolarMax’s Swiss Quality Inverters on Display at the 2012&2013 SNEC ExpoBrief
SolarMax, the world’s leading Swiss manufacturers of grid-connected solar inverters, exhibited at 2013 SNEC PV Power expo in Shanghai. EASTWEST PR was appointed as SolarMax’s local PR agency to build its brand image in the Chinese market around SNEC. Approach
EASTWEST utilized a major exhibition in the PV industry held annually in Shanghai to build SolarMax’s brand visibility among local trade media. SolarMax’s thought leadership in the PV industry was further enhanced through live video interview with SolarMax’s spokesperson. This integrated PR approach included digital and media relations.

2 press releases distributed among national business and clean energy media, generated over 30 media pick ups
