WELCOMEWelcome to the eighth Eastbourne Festival, an exciting three weeks of art and culture now recognised as a showcase for professional and am-ateur talent. As you turn the pages of this brochure you will find details of all events, including music, visual arts, comedy, theatre, dance, talks, workshops, artists’ open houses and much more. Use the brochure to plan your events noting dates times, and locations. This year there are some exciting key events lined up, including amongst others The Comedy of Babi Babbett with The Rude Mechanical Theatre, Eastbourne Choral Society’s Summer Concert, ‘Ahoy’, Dora vs. Picasso with Flamenco Music and Dance at the Birley Centre, shows at East-bourne Theatres, numerous art exhibitions and Artists’ Open Houses. A new music initiative, Eastbourne Music Live, a week of popular music in Eastbourne Borough Council premises and pubs, culminating in a concert at Eastbourne Extreme also forms part of Festival 2015.
