Earth’s Spheres The earth contains many spheres such as:

the Lithosphere, the Hydrosphere, the Atmosphere, and the Biosphere

Earth’s Layers The earth has many layers, they are:

Crust(Oceanic crust and Continental crust), Asthenosphere(upper mantle), Mantle, Outer Core, and Inner Core.Layer Definition Translation Image

Crust The upper part of the earth—There are two types of crust, Oceanic and Continental. It forms the upper lithosphere.

• Kwout• Croûte• Corteza

Mantle The layer beneath the crust. It is 2/3 of the mass of the earth.

• Manto• Manteau• Manto

Outer Core Layer beneath the mantle. It is liquid.

• nwayo ekstèn• Noyau externe• Núcleo externo

Inner Core The layer inside/at the center of earth. It is solid.

• Nwayo enteryè• Le noyau

Summary The “Earth” is a complex planet--to the point of fascination.

Many spheres altogether support life on earth. Those spheres are the lithosphere which means earth. The hydrosphere which is water. The atmosphere which is the air. At last, the biosphere is made up of all living things. That’s outside the earth. The inner part of earth consists of the crust--the part we walk on. There are two types of crust, Oceanic crust and continental crust. The oceanic crust is denser than the continental crust. It is the ocean floor. The continental crust is much thicker than the oceanic crust. It is less dense. The upper mantle is made out of plastic-like substance. It is called the asthenosphere. That is where convection currents occur. The mantle is made up of molten rock(magma). The outer core is liquid as well however it is denser than the mantle. At last, the inner core is made out of metal-- iron and nickel. It is solid. In conclusion, the earth’s interior is intriguing with all of those hot layers floating on top of each other.
