Welcome! This year at Nymboida Public School we welcome two new Kindergarten students, Yvonne and Oliver. This is the first weekly newsleer for the school year. A 2019 general informaon note was sent home with students last week. Please read all newsleers and notes to keep up to date with what is happening at school. Swimming News The Ulmarra & Friends Swimming Carnival was held last week at the Graſton Pool. Thank you to parents for assisng with transport on the day. Our students enjoyed taking part in compeve events in the main pool. Congratulaons to all who put in their best effort at the carnival. Ribbons were presented at assembly today. Special congratulaons to Reign, Cody, Ahlia, Rafferty and Jacob who will represent our school at the Small Schools Swimming Carnival on the 15 February. Good Luck! P&C Market Stall This Sunday, 10th February, the P&C will run their first Nymboida Market coffee & cake stall for 2019. Any assistance parents can provide in running the stall and/or preparaon of cakes is much appreciated. Please contact Jamee on 66494968 if you are able to help in any way. 2019 P&C Annual General Meeng The P&C AGM will be held on Monday 11 February at 9am. We encourage and welcome any new members to come along. Scholasc Book Club Twice per term students have the opportunity to order books through the Scholasc Book Club. This program rewards the school with a commission to purchase library books and resources. The due date for orders and payment to be returned to school will be on the catalogue and in the newsleer. Orders will then be delivered to the school within the following week. Payment opons are detailed on the order form. If paying by cheque, please make out to Scholasc, not the school. Late arrivals & early leavers Reminder - parents are required to sign a register in the school office if students arrive late or leave early. If the office is unaended please see a teacher. 2019 School Fees School fees for 2019 are $40 per student and music fees $10 per term, with discounts applied for siblings. Payments can be made by cash or cheque at the office or online through the school website. Names please Please clearly mark all school items with a name. Uniform and lunch items are oſten found leſt in the playground or classroom. Finding owners is much easier when items are marked with a name. 2018 slideshow If you would like a copy of the 2018 Presentaon slideshow please send in a USB drive to the office. Happy birthday wishes to the following students who have recently celebrated their birthdays — Joseph, Zendrik, Rafferty, Jacob and Tayla.
