LBA’s first annual Jami Putt* Memorial Captain’s Choice Golf Outing for Network for Women in

Crisis Wednesday, May 7th. Register by this Thursday, April 4th.

See pg. 8 & 9 for more details & sign-up forms are on bulletin board.

The Mission Team has put a

city, country, and world map on the bulletin board on the

2nd floor of the Education building. We would like you to take a pin and pin where you

have participated in Missions. It does not matter if you were

a member of this church or another church. The point of this is to see where we have

been and where we can go. Once you look at the maps,

one can easily see there is a world of opportunity that

remains.

Ritter & Steven Russell’s trip to Jackson Hole,

Wyoming through Campus Crusade for Christ.

Please be thinking about donating a basket for the

auction. Some themes are: baby, sports, movie night,

game night, cooking, gardening, chocolate, etc.

Belk Charity Day Tickets - now on sale; sale

date is May 3rd from 6 am to 10 am. - For every $5 ticket sold prior to that Satur-day, WLBC gets to keep the entire $5 for

OCC activities. - Proceeds from tickets sold at Belk on the day of

the sale regardless of which charity you buy it from that day is split between all twelve charities present that day.

and Linda M can be contacted for tickets.

Last Belk Day ticket sales, we got enough money to purchase most of the washcloths we will need

for shoeboxes this fall.

- Please recruit 1 hole sponsor at $100—there will be a sign with the com-pany’s name on

the hole they wish to sponsor; hole sponsor may sponsor more than 1 hole if they wish

*Jami Putt is the daughter of Dr. & Mrs. Robert Putt. Jami lost her battle with an eating

disorder and we wish to honor her and all who sometimes struggle in life.

Network for Women in Crisis is a transitional Christian home for women and their children

experiencing a crisis in their lives. The typical residents is there as the re-sult of homeless-

ness; domestic violence and abuse; an unplanned pregnancy with nowhere to turn. The goal

of the Network is to assist these women through this cri-sis, focusing on a changed life

style. Network for women in Crisis is a 501(c3) organization.
