    I Chronicles 21:13

    David said to Gad,I am in deepdistress. Let me

    fall into the handsof the Lord, for his

    mercy is verygreat; but do not

    let me fall intohuman hands.

    Because of the health bene its of good nutrition (all our hot lunches are heart - &diabetes -friendly), Meals on Wheels keeps people out of nursing homes longer.Our program allows our recipients to remain somewhat independent in theirown homes. A year of meals costs less than one day in the hospital. But it is morethan just a meal...it is a connection with people who care. For many recipients,our volunteer is the only person they will see that day.
