MBC members will be able to get a flu shot following the 9:30 a.m. service onSunday, September 29, 2013. Rite Aid will be in the Multi-Purpose room to givethe shots. Persons interested should sign up at the Information Center. Rite Aid canaccommodate persons from ages 2 to 65 plus, bring your current insurance card orcome prepared to pay a fee.

2013-14 Tutoring at the NCSC:

Required Parent Orientation Sessions will take place on October 8, 2013 and October10, 2013 at 5 pm. Parents must attend one of the two sessions in order for their chil-dren to participate and registration is required.

This program is FREE to all Arlington Residents, but only the first 15 students will be

admitted. Tutoring Sessions will take place from October 15, 2013 - May 13, 2014 onTuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. Snack, juice and homework help will beprovided for every child and rewards will be given for attendance at the end of the

year!

RSVP - Northern Virginia engages persons 55 and older in volunteer service to meetcritical community needs while providing a high quality experience that will enrich thelives of the volunteers. RSVP recruits volunteers, assesses their availability and skills,and then matches their interests, skills and experience with the best volunteer place-ment. As an added benefit to volunteers, RSVP members are eligible to receive mile-

age and meal reimbursement, supplemental insurance while serving, and ongoinggroup service and recognition events. RSVP- Northern Virginia is sponsored by Volun-teer Fairfax in partnership with Volunteer Alexandria and Volunteer Arlington.

Tree Distribution Event

Free trees! Arlington County's Natural Resources Division is providing 500 native treespecies for residents. The 2013 Bible Study Scheduleat 7pm

Each 1st Wednesdaywill be Corporate Prayer and Praise. Everyone is encouragedand invited to attend.

Every2nd Wednesdayof the month will be Pastors Bible Study which is open toeveryone.Every3rd Wednesdayof the month will be Mens and Womens Bible Study.

Each 4th Wednesdaywill be Young Adult Bible Study.

The 5th Wednesdayof each month will be Leadership Night. All leaders of MBCwill meet with Pastor Hamlin.
