“!e Li"le Mermaid JR.”

Go to the show!   Forty two Newark Middle School students will present Disney’s “The Little Mermaid JR.” this weekend in the NMS auditorium.  NMS vocal music teacher Kate Flock is directing the show that will be held at 7 p.m. March 20th and at 2 p.m. March 21st. Theresa DeWolf , owner of Dance Expressions with Theresa in Newark , is the choreographer. NMS eighth grader Mallory Williams has been Flock’s assistant and stage manager. 

Those attending will journey “under the sea” into in a magical underwater kingdom, where the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home – and her fins – behind and live in the world above.

But first she'll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she’s the girl whose enchanting voice he’s been seeking.

This show features the hit songs "Part of Your World," "She’s in Love," and the Oscar-winning "Under the Sea," is a surefire crowd-pleaser.
