Dynamic warehousing systems are replacing simple stytic systems more and more. For good reason; the advantages are varied and convincing:- better usage of space- shorter transport routes- less handling equipment- lower costs

Our product range goes from simple gravity-driven racking such as live storage and pushback racks right up to fully automated block storage.

Combined storage and order picking system. Can be serviced with narrow aisle or fully automatic handling equipment.

Manually operated dynamic block rack with forklift trucks and coordinated shuttle cars. The shuttle cars are operated by remote control. For unusually deep bays.

Dynamic storage systems for pallets or containers combine optimum space utilisation with quick accessibility. Whether in a logistic centre or as an intermediate storage area for production, a dynamic storage system quickly pays for itself, in many cases within two years.

Live-storage racks need only one aisle for loading and unloading, making them extremely compact, space-saving and fast. Stocks are clearly arranged and tidier, making control and inventory easier. Storage personnel work more efficiently, the number of racks can be reduced. Order-picking and storage in the smallest space - thanks to a modular technique that is simple to install. First in - First out: already integrated in live-storage systems.

Standard pick-and-deposit station (P + D) with full-width rollers and a pallet stop for lifting pallet with a forklift truck with inclinable mast.

Pallet loading positions with robust entry guides capable of withstanding the harsh treatment meted out in warehouses guarantee that pallets are set down in the middle and square.

Three part pallet P + D station with pallet separator rocker and impact protection for picking off by pallet truck. This module is best used in order picking areas.

Pallet Live-storage

Pallet live-storage can be serviced by different kinds of handling equipment. Each rack can be individually designed to get the highest degree of flexibility and productivity.

Fully automatic loading with a floor-mounted crane.

Fully automatic pallet removal from a 30 m deep rack using an inte-grated pneumatic pallet station. The pallet is forwarded on a conveyor with driven rollers.

Here pallets can be taken out by a forklift with inclinable mast from the bottom level.

Two-part pallet P + D station with pallet stop and impact protection for picking off with pallet trucks. The two front sets of rollers are not bolted but slotted into the lower structure.

The two sets of rollers can be easily lifted out for when the floor needs cleaning. The roller tracks are so constructed that, when put back, they can only fit in one way - the right one.

Pallets can be removed from the bottom level by pallet truck.

Carton Live-storageThe optimum solution for compact storage and efficient order-picking. The system consists of standard racking with strips of rollers slotted in at various levels. The slope and the height of the rollers can be almost infinitely adjusted. Channel widths can be altered just by putting the strips in different slots.

Order-picking systems with live-storage racks, conveyors, and a Pick-to-Light system - all from the same supplier: Saar Lagertechnik.

The height can be changed by simply dropping the framework into different slots.

Push-back module of rollers with built-in brake-roller and end stop. This system is used for conveying pallets lengthwise.

Slide-in system for transporting pallets sideways. The pallets are placed on trolleys fitted with ball-races.

Combined live-storage systemsCombined live-storage systems reflect the goods' structure in your warehouse. Pallets are stored in different types of rack depending on how often they are turned round: Article A in a live-storage rack with very deep bays, article B in a rack with shorter bays, article C in normal racking.

Goods to be picked from the pallet below, for example, are prepared in a tunnel-like construction. New goods come from the store over the tunnel.

Live-storage with extremely long bays (more than 30 m) and with the possibility of unloading from the side as well as from the front.

Roller tracks that can be swivelled up to facilitate floor cleaning.

The inside of a brake roller. The braking machanism is fully integrated in the bearing roller and controls the speed of the pallet from the very light to very heavy (50 kg - 1200 kg). Should the pallets be even heavier, a second braking mechanism is built into the roller.

Integrated systemsAn integrated logistic system consists of many components: racking, conveyors, IT, etc. Saar Lagertechnik will plan and build the ideal storage distribution system tailored to your requirements.

A two-part pallet P + D station with a pallet divider; the rollers are set very close together to allow pallets to be transported sideways. This module is usually employed in the order-picking area. In this case the height was optimised at 35 mm above the top of the roller for easy handling.

P + D with off-set pallet stop allowing two consecutive pallets to be taken off at the same time. This module can also be used in cases where the mechanical parts need to have extra protection due to a particulary turbulent environment.

Three-part conveyor system with a pallet separator rocker and crash protection for removing pallets with a pallet truck. This component is normally put to use in the order-picking area.
