iPod Converting Help

#1. Insert your DVD movie to be copied to your iPod.

#2. Click on New and then click OK.

#3. Now click on the button that says “mobile” this will bring up the mobile device (iPod) options.

Select the iPod option and choose the quality via the pull down-menu. Then click the Start button.

Once that is done, the converted DVD will be stored in your DVD-neXt COPY temp directory on your computer in iPod format. (You can locate your temp directory in the settings of DVD neXt COPY.)

Transfer the DVD to your iPod Help

You need to have itunes installed on your computer to manage content on your iPod. All you have to do is open itunes, then drag and drop the DVD movie you just converted to iPod format, from your DVD neXt COPY temp directory folder to your iPod movies folder in itunes.

PSP Converting Help

#1. Insert the DVD movie to be copied to your PSP.

#2. Click the New button and then click the OK button.

#3. Now click on the button that says “mobile” this will bring up the mobile device (PSP) options as seen in the image below.

Select the PSP option and choose the quality via the pull down-menu. Then click the Start button.

Once that is done the converted DVD will be stored in your DVD neXt COPY temp directory on your computer in PSP format. (You can locate your temp directory in the settings of DVD neXt COPY.)

To transfer from the DVD neXt COPY temp directory to your PSP you will need a media card reader. Most computers nowadays have one of these on them. It would be located on your tower or on your laptop. It is a little drive where you insert memory and media cards, such as from your digital camera and other devices. Inside of your PSP you should have a memory card where you store your data games and movies. You can take that out and insert it into your memory card reader on your computer. This will allow you to trans-fer data and your movies to it.

The second way is much easier but requires a purchase of software from www.sony.com. The software is called “Sony Media Manager” and can be found on their website. Sony Media Manager gives you complete control of everything on your PSP from within an easy to use software interface.

There are two ways to do this. The first is a little more work but it’s free if you already have the hardware on your computer, which you most likley do.
