Drivers of the Year & Service Awards

Drivers make our world go round. So at the beginning of each year, we

take some time to recognize exceptional people who contribute to mak-

ing us successful.

The coveted Solo Driver of the Year award was presented to Wayne

Ballenger (Winner) and Chad Walworth (Runner up) for their out-

standing performance in 2015. Team Jim Hayes and Robert Woods

won the Team Drivers of the Year award, while Team Clifford and

Janice Dow received the Runner up spot. To effectively carry on the

tradition of truck driving, we rely on trainers like Joe Lawrence. His

passion for helping others makes us proud to present him with the

Trainer of the Year award. All winners received a recognition plaque

and cash award. In addition, first place winners were invited to a dinner

in their honor and runners up received a gift card for dinner.

Moving to McLeod

Trekker, Tennant Truck Lines and several departments of Earl L. Henderson Trucking are migrating to

the McLeod operating system! McLeod is a leading provider of transportation dispatch, accounting, op-

erations, brokerage and document management systems.

In the last two weeks of March, most of our office team members attended online and on-site training

sessions to learn about the system. Thus far, feedback has been positive with many saying that it is

easy to use. The migration is scheduled to be complete on April 1 with some ongoing procedures to en-

sure a smooth transition.

*To McLeod users: If you have questions or need help with the system, please send an email to the

Helpdesk.

*To all our drivers: This migration of systems may cause some hiccups along the way so we appreci-

ate your patience. Once fully implemented, this system will help us plan, dispatch and communicate

better. The more efficient we are, the more miles you can run and the more money you can make.

- cont’d from front page - We also recognized four drivers with the Million Mile Award – Leo DeWeese,

Jim Hayes, Joe Lawrence, and Louie Re. These winners are the epitome of safety as they have

each driven at least 1 million miles with no preventable accidents. In honor of this achievement, they

received a plaque, an engraved commemorative ring and endless bragging rights.

New people join our tribe every week, but there are some who have been committed to this company
