A sensor “actinometer “ is used to detect the intensity of radiation

Different colors light will radiate different -2-intensity of radiation

Which will be detected by the sensor If the detected intensity is of red colour or yellow

colour then controller will send a command to stop the vehicle .

The command will be followed by robot(to convert the computer command into mechanical input)

LIDAR

“Heart of the system“

LIDAR stands for Light Detection And Ranging

It is an optical remote sensing technology

It can measure the distance to, or other properties of a target by illuminating the target with light.

VIDEO CAMERA:

Detects upcoming traffic light.

DISTANCE SENSOR:

Allow the car to "see" far enough to detect nearby or upcoming cars or obstacles

POSITION ESTIMATOR(Wheel Encoder): Determines vehicle's location and keeps  track of

its movements.

AUTOMOTIVE NIGHT VISSION:

Increases vehicle driver’s perception and seeing distance in darkness and poor weather conditions.

DISADVANTAGES…• If the user is using internet

with less security then it can be caught by the hackers.

• Hackers can turn system on or off

• Hackers can change the route.

• In case of failure in main senor and backup sensor the vehicle can create chances of accidents
