Please call 717-221-1357 to set up an appointment. Students requesting refunds three business days prior to the first class meeting will receive a partial refund. No refund of tuition or fees will be made if the request is made less than three days before the start of class. HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, reserves the right to make tuition changes. If the number of enrollment is insufficient or an emergency situation should occur, courses may be canceled with limited notice.

HACC’s Commercial Driving License Certification (CDL) Program will take you through the process to obtain a CDL license to operate a Class “A” or “B” commercial vehicle. The program will prepare you to obtain your CDL and continue to fine-tune your skills after passing the state exam.

TUTORING for EXPERIENCED DRIVERS

This program is personalized based on:• The experience of the driver• How much time the driver needs behind the wheel in

order to pass his/her CDL testCost: $75/hour (utilizing your equipment) $85/hour (utilizing HACC’s equipment)

CUSTOMIZED TRAINING

HACC’s experienced staff is able to customize a training program to fit your personal or company’s unique needs. Examples:

• Defensive Driving • Refresher Training • Safety Evaluation• Train the Trainer • CDL for Diesel Mechanics• Class “B” Training – Automatic Transmission• Class “B” Training – Manual Transmission• Upgrade to Class “A” Training

Diesel Technician Program

HACC’s 200-hour program combines theory and hands-on training that can lead you to an apprenticeship and jobs in fields that utilize diesel-powered equipment. Starting salaries for these entry-level positions average $21,000-$32,000, depending on experience.

Cost: $5,300 – Includes certified CPR and first aid training, handouts, road atlas, hazmat training, Department of Transportation (DOT) physical, drug testing and the CDL test

Program Length: Five weeks (200 hours)

Days and Time(s): Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Class “A” Training – Weekends

THIRD PARTY TESTING

HACC’s Transportation and Logistics Program is a licensed Third Party Testing Site for Class A, B and C (including passenger and school buses) for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Testing is available to the public by appointment only. • $200/test (utilizing your equipment)• $250/test (utilizing HACC’s equipment)

Tests must be scheduled in advance and prepaid. There will be no refunds.
